Plechtige herdenkingsceremonie

Op dinsdag 30 juni 2020 om 18.45 presenteert Stichting comité 30 juni/ 1 juli een herdenkingsplechtigheid in een aangepast Programma (vanwege corona ) via zoom.

Op deze dag herdenken ‘wij’ als nazaten van de tot slaaf gemaakten in Suriname en de voormalige Nederlandse Antillen, onze voorouders ‘de slachtoffers van de Trans-Atlantische Nederlandse Slavernij.

Ook staan wij stil bij het leed dat hun is aangedaan zowel bij het werken op de plantages als ook tijdens de barre overtocht
gemaakt over de oceaan.

Op 1 juli is de kranslegging, dit jaar in besloten kring vanwege corona. Ook de keti koti viering vervalt.
Een waardige herdenking en gepaste viering voor alle Nederlanders.
