Afgelopen woensdag organiseerde de NPO een benefietshow voor de COVID-19 slachtoffers van Suriname. Wat een mooie gelegenheid moest zijn om Suriname in al haar geuren en kleuren te tonen aan een groter publiek werd (wederom) een Afro-Surinaams (zie Black Lives Matter) feestje onder leiding van Jorgen Raymann en Humberto Tann. Wij spraken diverse mensen uit de Hindoestaanse gemeenschap over deze NPO faal en de ophef die daardoor is ontstaan in de Surinaamse gemeenschap.
